April 18, 2024 marked a significant day for Asmen Distribución, when we received in our facilities the TIPSA delegations from the Levante area with a clear objective: to review and improve the joint logistics service we offer to our customers. This meeting is part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen relationships with strategic partners, such as TIPSA, and to ensure that we maintain a top quality logistics service in a sector as dynamic as transport and distribution. The meeting was attended by key figures from both companies. On behalf of TIPSA, Marisa Camacho, founder and CEO, and Eduardo Vázquez, national director of the TIPSA network, attended the meeting. Luis Frías, president of Asmen Distribución, led the meeting from our organization. This was a crucial moment to consolidate the collaboration between both companies, focused on improving operational efficiency, integrating new technologies and advancing sustainable solutions for the future of transport in the Levante area. We also analyzed seasonal demands and how to adapt our operations to work peaks, such as those that occur during campaigns like Black Friday or Christmas. The implementation of advanced traceability systems, which allow customers to know exactly where their package is at each stage of the logistics process, was addressed. These technologies not only allow predicting market behaviors and optimizing demand management, but also facilitate management in times of high demand, such as massive sales campaigns. AI will also be used to optimize delivery routes, adjusting the most efficient routes in real time and improving responsiveness to unforeseen incidents. Improvements in Asmen Distribución’s Facilities TIPSA delegations toured our facilities to learn about the improvements implemented in recent months. Expansion of Storage Areas With the growth in demand, especially in e-commerce and express shipments, we have expanded our storage areas. This expansion allows us to handle a greater volume of packages and improve the speed and accuracy of package processing. These improvements ensure that we can continue to provide efficient service at times of high demand. Temperature-controlled facilities At Asmen, we have added new temperature-controlled storage areas for products that require specific conditions, such as certain pharmaceuticals. TIPSA has shown interest in integrating this type of service into its offering, which would open up new opportunities for collaboration for both companies in markets sensitive to storage conditions. Advanced Security Systems We have also improved our video surveillance and access control systems at our facilities. These systems ensure that products in storage and in transit are protected at all times, reinforcing the security of our operations and earning the trust of our customers. Joint Commitment to Sustainability One of the most prominent topics during the meeting was sustainability. Both TIPSA and Asmen share the vision of reducing the environmental impact of our operations, and several initiatives were discussed to achieve this.
