Asmen’s new logistics hub will complete the industrial offer of the Cheste Circuit Business Park.

The mayor has visited the works of the new Asmen facilities and has highlighted the scope of the project.

The operator – also present in Portugal and Germany – will increase its workforce and fleet of vehicles by 20% in the move to its new headquarters.

The mayor of Cheste, José Morell, has visited the works of the new logistics hub of Asmen, a Valencian company leader in express transport and integrated logistics.
The new 14,000 m2 facility is located in the Cheste Circuit Business Park and will complete this environmental complex where international companies such as Lidl, VGP and Logicor have their headquarters.
Luis Frías, CEO of Asmen, was also present at the visit to the logistics center, which will be inaugurated between October and November next year.
José Morell declared to be ” I am very happy that a reference company like Asmen is moving to this great Business Park that we have in Cheste.
It was a great commitment of the city council to promote our industrial strategy as a generator of employment and we are reaping the rewards. “.
At the same time he stressed that the Business Park is at 80% of its capacity and with expectations that it will be complete in the very near future. This new logistics facility will also be a benchmark for its sustainability values, as the Cheste Circuit Business Park is the first private initiative logistics park with certified sustainability (GBCe green certificate). In addition, the facility will have solar panels that will enable energy self-sufficiency. As part of the collaboration agreement between Asmen and the national operator Tipsa, the new platform will become the regional center of Tipsa’s parcel network in the Valencian Community. The warehouse will be equipped with 6 loading bays for trailers and 6 for light vehicles. The CEO of Asmen -Luis Frías- has thanked the mayor for his visit and has been very excited about the new facility. “The new platform will enable us to further improve our service.
To this end, we will increase our workforce by more than 20%, as well as our light vehicles and trailers”.
