It is important to obtain a single film that secures the load, that is homogeneous or with protrusions, but it is no less important to arrange the packages in the correct way and to distribute the weight in a balanced way.
Throughout the packaging process we must maintain the film tension constantly and at all times, to achieve the effect of a protective shield.
And the whole process can lose efficiency if we do not choose the right film for the goods to be wrapped.
Depending on the applications and characteristics of each product, we will find different types of plastic wrapping, with their peculiar characteristics and advantages.

Stretch film

It is the most common type of flexible packaging and is divided into three types:

• In length or Cast estimable film.
  Thanks to its mono-oriented characteristics, which allow it to stretch along its entire length, it acquires a high resistance to scratches.
  It is applied manually and offers a remarkable transparency.
  It is widely used in a large part of the palletizing chain.
• It is applied with high speed orbital wrappers.
  It can be rewound and cut according to the customer’s needs and is available in different sizes, diameters, colors and designs.
  It is ideal for long objects such as doors, windows, profiles, pipes or sofas.
• It offers the same extension capacity as the previous ones but, in addition, it can be customized to the customer’s taste, who can choose the size of the reel, color, type of printing or micrages.
  It is highly appreciated in special packaging, as advertising for companies or to provide solutions for non-standard machinery.

Manual pre-stretched film

Its main advantage is that it allows us to save time when we have to palletize the load.
The speed of this process is due to the fact that it has been pre-stretched to facilitate a simpler, faster and more efficient application.
It is especially indicated when the volumes to be wrapped are different and the pallets are medium-sized.

Heat shrink film

Made of polyolefin, it offers a smooth, shiny appearance and great versatility, so it can be applied in all types of packaging machines, whether automatic or manual.
As it easily adapts to irregularities, it favors the protection of all types of surfaces.

Macroperforated film

It is a plastic wrapper, provided with large holes, which allow the pallet to be ventilated.
By facilitating air circulation, it protects the most sensitive products from condensation and spoilage.
