[We are used to seeing technological revolutions constantly, but the one we bring you today is especially striking.
\nThe Valencian company<\/a> BiofreshTech, has created a new technology that will revolutionize logistics for food, medicines and organs that need refrigeration.
\nIt is the first time that a climate control system without electrical connection has been introduced on the market.
\nSome have already baptized it as the “take away refrigeration with 6 days of autonomy”. <\/p>\n

BiofreshTech creates an automated, cordless refrigerator<\/h2>\n

The list of applications is long: precooked food, medicines, transplant organs, frozen and refrigerated food, etc.
\nIt offers the possibility of maintaining its appropriate conservation temperature, energetically autonomous for more than 5 days.
\nThis is an innovative technological system of passive climate control.
\nThe transport sector now has a tool that maintains the temperature in ranges of -20-55\u00baC.
\nAll designed by the chemical engineer Javier Guill\u00e9n. <\/p>\n

Prototype and Patents<\/h2>\n

This system has two patents<\/strong>: on the one hand, the chemical formulation to create a product with properties that allow cold storage.
\nThis gel, he stresses, is harmless to health and non-polluting.
\nBiofreshTech manufactures its product at the company’s facilities in Catarroja (Valencia).
\nThe assembly of the refrigeration machinery, however, is outsourced to different industrial partners. <\/span> In addition, the company holds an international patent for the refrigerated system itself.
\nThis is a technology that monitors the temperature of the refrigerator in question in real time.
\nThis allows it to stabilize in an automated way<\/strong>, thanks to sensors that upload the information of the degrees \u00baC to the cloud.
\nBy simply connecting to the system, it already knows whether to increase or decrease the temperature.
\nThus, the user does not need to charge the device electrically and it will regulate itself automatically without having to connect during the trip or its use.
\nThis entire complex system has geolocation of the device through sensors for the traceability of the device.
\nFor example, the logistics operator can monitor how the temperature of the refrigerator behaves in real time.
\nFrom its temperature to its exact location, through the time it has been open and the cold recovery it has needed after opening. <\/p>\n

Energy saving, the joint need of the sector<\/h2>\n

Luis Fr\u00edas, CEO founder of Asmen, is co-founder of BiofresTech together with 6 other partners.
\nAll of them come from the logistics business sector.
\nThey were aware that the sector was missing a mechanism with these characteristics to transport food and pharmaceuticals.
\nThe inspiration came from the need for ships to deliver food on the high seas outside international waters.
\nFinally, they came together under the firm BiosfresTech as a solution.
\nThis ingenious idea is capable of being applied to the interior of a refrigerator, a cold room, a vehicle or a building. <\/p>\n

The technology is assumed for each van:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Energy savings of more than 50%.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Fuel savings of 20 to 25%.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. A consequent reduction of CO2 emissions estimated at 3.5 tons per year. <\/span><\/li>\n
  4. This technology is practically soundproof and does not require the vehicle’s engine to be kept running, a very relevant aspect for supermarkets located in the city that need to unload at night.
    \nThis avoids disturbing the neighbors. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    At the moment it has been incorporated in refrigeration chambers (fixed and portable) and in delivery vehicles.
    \nBut companies in the logistics sector with Pharma work with it, as we do in Asmen Tipsa Valencia.
    \nWe have incorporated 300 coolers with BiofreshTech technology into our network.
    \nFor the future, we are testing a concept for a large distribution retailer in Valencia and also with Asmen. Being a logistics operator of reference in national food distribution requires adapting and incorporating elements to provide the best service at your fingertips<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
